About the Role

As a Germany-based English & German AI Generalist Trainer at Rexzone, you will contribute to RLHF workflows and large language model evaluation by reviewing model-generated responses, ranking alternatives, and writing clear rationales. You will apply annotation guidelines compliance to improve training data quality, support prompt evaluation and QA evaluation, and help teams deliver measurable model performance improvement across multilingual use cases.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and rank model-generated outputs for correctness, helpfulness, and safety; perform QA evaluation with detailed reasoning and validation of edge cases; write bilingual (English/German) rationales that justify rankings and highlight errors; follow annotation guidelines compliance and document disagreements or ambiguities; execute prompt evaluation, data labeling, and content safety labeling tasks per project requirements; identify recurring failure modes and report insights that improve training data quality and model performance improvement; calibrate with peers on rubrics, ensure consistency, and maintain high-quality throughput under deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

Based in Germany with authorization to work as applicable; fluent in English and German (C1/C2 level reading and writing); strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex responses and provide structured reasoning; exceptional attention to detail and consistency when applying rubrics; ability to follow annotation guidelines compliance and handle sensitive content safely; reliable internet connection and comfort working fully remote.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience in AI training, data labeling, or LLM evaluation (including RLHF); familiarity with prompt evaluation, QA evaluation, and training data quality concepts; experience with content safety labeling policies and edge-case handling; self-driven, organized, and able to work independently while communicating clearly with distributed teams.

Compensation

Hourly pay: $35–$40 USD/hour (rate depends on assessment performance, task complexity, and project needs).
