About the Role

As a Germany-based English & German AI Generalist Trainer at Rexzone, you will evaluate and improve large language model outputs across tasks such as instruction following, reasoning, and safety. Your work strengthens RLHF pipelines and drives model performance improvement by ensuring training data quality, consistent judgments, and annotation guidelines compliance.

Responsibilities

Evaluate model-generated responses in English and German against rubrics; rank multiple outputs and select best-in-class answers; perform QA evaluation and validation checks for accuracy, consistency, and policy adherence; write concise rationales that explain reasoning and scoring decisions; follow annotation guidelines compliance requirements and document edge cases; label content for content safety labeling and policy alignment; identify systematic error patterns and escalate quality risks that impact training data quality; calibrate with peers to reduce variance and improve evaluation consistency.

Basic Qualifications

Must be based in Germany and authorized to work remotely from Germany; fluent in both German and English (reading, writing, and comprehension); strong analytical skills with the ability to compare nuanced outputs and apply consistent reasoning; high attention to detail for QA, validation, and guideline adherence; comfortable working with ambiguous prompts and applying evaluation rubrics; reliable internet and ability to meet full-time productivity expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in AI data labeling, RLHF, prompt evaluation, or LLM evaluation; familiarity with large language model behaviors (hallucinations, bias, instruction-following); experience writing structured rationales and doing QA evaluation; self-driven, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting; background in linguistics, writing, translation, content moderation, or technical evaluation.

Compensation

USD $35–$40 per hour (hourly). Full-time remote role based in Germany.
