The work emphasizes production engineering, simulation-first iteration, and measurable improvements to model performance improvement and vehicle behavior. Key Responsibilities: ["Develop perception and sensor fusion pipelines using camera, radar, and LiDAR inputs for robust on-road operation","Build and optimize motion planning and control loops (trajectory generation, MPC/PID), targeting smooth, safe maneuvers","Integrate autonomy modules into ROS/ROS2-based stacks and automotive middleware, maintaining clear interfaces and fault handling","Create simulation and replay workflows for regression testing, scenario coverage, and safety validation","Collaborate with data operations on training data quality, annotation guidelines compliance, and QA evaluation to reduce model errors","Define metrics and dashboards for autonomy KPIs (disengagements, collision risk proxies, tracking stability) and run root-cause analyses","Support model deployment constraints (latency, compute, memory) and on-vehicle debugging for edge performance"] Required Qualifications: ["Mid-Senior engineering experience in robotics, autonomy, or automotive ADAS","Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python for robotics software","Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2, SLAM/localization, and multi-sensor calibration concepts","Practical knowledge of motion planning and control (trajectory optimization, state estimation, vehicle dynamics)","Experience with simulation tooling and scenario-based testing for autonomous systems"] Preferred Qualifications: ["Experience with computer vision and deep learning for perception (object detection, lane/road understanding)","Familiarity with functional safety concepts (ISO 26262), safety cases, and validation best practices","Experience building data-centric iteration loops: labeling specs, prompt evaluation-style human review, and QA evaluation processes","Background working with mobility teams, AI labs, annotation vendors, or BPO-style data operations partners"] How You Work on Rex.zone: You will collaborate remotely across engineering and data workflows to accelerate autonomy iteration cycles.
