Data Labeling Jobs (Work From Home)

Data labeling jobs (work from home) are specialist roles that create high-quality training data for AI/ML systems on Rex.zone. As a data annotation professional, you will perform RLHF tasks, QA evaluation, prompt evaluation, named entity recognition (NER), computer vision annotation, and content safety labeling to power LLM training pipelines. Your work improves training data quality, ensures annotation guidelines compliance, and drives model performance improvement for large language model evaluation. Roles span remote, contract, freelance, full-time, entry-level, and senior across NLP, computer vision, and safety domains for AI labs, tech startups, BPOs, and annotation vendors. Apply to join Rex.zone projects and help train reliable AI.

Key Responsibilities

Execute text, image, audio, and video annotation aligned with detailed guidelines. Perform RLHF tasks including pairwise preference ranking, rubric-based scoring, and red-teaming for safety. Conduct prompt evaluation and LLM output grading for factuality, helpfulness, and harmlessness. Complete NER tagging, intent classification, and sentiment labeling for NLP datasets. Carry out computer vision annotation such as bounding boxes, segmentation, and keypoints. Label content safety categories (toxicity, hate, self-harm) with high precision. Follow QA workflows, resolve edge cases, and provide feedback to improve guidelines. Use inter-annotator agreement metrics to maintain consistency and escalate ambiguities.

Required Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex annotation guidelines. Fluent reading comprehension in English; multilingual skills are a plus. Familiarity with LLMs and basic AI/ML concepts. Comfortable with productivity targets, quality audits, and constructive feedback. Reliable remote work setup with stable internet. Availability for part-time or full-time shifts depending on project needs. Ethical judgment for content safety tasks and willingness to handle sensitive material where applicable.

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience with tools like Label Studio, Prodigy, SuperAnnotate, Argilla, Diffgram, Scale, or Surge. Prior RLHF or LLM evaluation work using pairwise ranking and rubric scoring. Background in NLP (NER, coreference, summarization) or computer vision (detection, segmentation). Understanding of QA sampling, gold tasks, and calibration sessions. Basic data skills (CSV handling, issue tracking) and optional scripting (Python) for power users. Experience with BPOs, annotation vendors, or AI labs preferred.

Tools and Workflows

Use secure, browser-based labeling platforms integrated with Rex.zone. Participate in guided onboarding, calibration, and certification assessments. Follow versioned guidelines with examples, counterexamples, and decision trees. Track productivity and quality via dashboards; maintain target acceptance rates. Collaborate via Slack or similar channels for questions; file tickets in Jira-like systems. Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting clarifications for edge cases.

Work Arrangements and Compensation

Remote-first opportunities available as contract, freelance, part-time, and full-time. Entry-level to senior tracks; domain-specific roles in NLP, computer vision, and content safety. Pay structures vary by project: per-task, hourly, or milestone-based with quality bonuses. Some roles require weekend or evening coverage; others are flexible. Opportunities are open to candidates across regions subject to project and compliance requirements.
