About the Role

You will deliver industrial robotics engineering outcomes for manufacturing and warehouse automation programs, supporting robot cell design, offline programming, controls integration, and production readiness. Work includes reviewing cycle time targets, mapping I/O and field devices, validating safety functions, coordinating with integrators, and supporting remote commissioning. You will translate requirements into robot programs, PLC logic, HMI behaviors, and test procedures while maintaining documentation and change control.

Key Responsibilities

Own robot application engineering for common industrial use cases (palletizing, machine tending, welding, pick-and-place, inspection) Develop and maintain robot programs, job files, and recovery routines with clear operator instructions Integrate robots with PLCs, safety PLCs, conveyors, grippers, sensors, and vision systems Perform offline programming and simulation using digital twin and cycle time studies Create and execute FAT/SAT plans, commissioning checklists, and production acceptance criteria Troubleshoot automation faults using root-cause analysis and structured problem solving Maintain electrical and controls documentation (I/O lists, network diagrams, safety validation records) Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and EHS to meet uptime, yield, and safety targets Support continuous improvement initiatives tied to OEE, downtime reduction, and changeover time

Required Qualifications
