Role Summary

You will deliver end-to-end industrial robotics solutions—from concept and simulation to integration, commissioning, and steady-state support. This includes selecting robots and end-of-arm tooling, programming motion paths, integrating PLCs and safety systems, configuring industrial networks, and validating performance against takt time and quality requirements. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, and operations stakeholders to standardize reusable modules, reduce downtime through root-cause analysis, and maintain compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Design and integrate robotic workcells, including tooling, fixtures, sensors, and safety devices; program industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa) and tune motion for cycle-time and repeatability; develop and integrate PLC logic, HMI interfaces, and interlocks for coordinated automation; implement machine vision guidance/inspection workflows and calibrate vision-to-robot hand-eye systems; commission equipment on-site and remotely, including I/O checkout, safety validation, and run-at-rate; troubleshoot production issues using structured methods (fault trees, 5-Whys) and implement corrective actions; create and maintain documentation (electrical schematics references, software backups, IO lists, SOPs, FAT/SAT reports); ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and risk assessments (LOTO, guarding, safety PLCs).

Required Qualifications

Mid-Senior experience delivering industrial robotics or automation projects in manufacturing or industrial environments; strong robot programming and integration skills (path planning, frames, TCP, payloads, error recovery); hands-on PLC integration experience, including field I/O, safety circuits, and industrial communication protocols; familiarity with machine vision systems, camera selection, lighting, calibration, and inspection logic; ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and collaborate across disciplines; proven troubleshooting skills in production environments with uptime and OEE targets.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with offline programming/simulation tools (e.g., RoboDK, Process Simulate, RobotStudio, RoboGuide); familiarity with MES/SCADA data collection, traceability, and basic industrial data pipelines; experience in automotive, electronics, packaging, logistics, or high-mix manufacturing robotics; knowledge of safety standards and documentation practices (risk assessment, safety validation reports); exposure to collaborative robots (cobots), force control, and advanced sensing.

Compensation

Salary Range: USD 63360–126720 per year. Final compensation depends on experience, scope, and role fit.
