Creative and flexible work for freelancers and students
Robotics & Embodied AI Annotation Jobs
Robotics and embodied AI annotation jobs at Rex.zone connect freelancers, students, and annotation professionals with remote projects that teach robots to see, reason, and act.
- RLHF
- Video Annotation
- Video Captioning
- Multimodal Annotation
- Model Output Evaluation
Overview
You will annotate and caption robot videos, label robot actions and grasps, evaluate model outputs, and provide human feedback (RLHF) that helps embodied AI systems understand spatial relationships and physical manipulation.
No robotics background is required to start: our ramp-up program of tutorials, quizzes, and a virtual lab takes you from generalist to robotics specialist, with efficient feedback loops and fast pay along the way.

About the Role
Robotics & Embodied AI Annotation Jobs (Remote, Flexible)
What You’ll Do
- Annotate and caption robot videos, describing objects, actions, and spatial relationships precisely
- Label robot actions, manipulation steps, and grasp outcomes (success, failure, and why)
- Evaluate and rank AI model outputs for accuracy, safety, and physical plausibility
- Provide preference annotations and human feedback (RLHF) for embodied AI models
- Review peers' annotations against guidelines as part of annotation QA
How to Apply
Sign up on Rex.zone, complete your profile, and apply to robotics annotation projects. Once accepted, you will go through our ramp-up program (tutorials, quizzes, and a virtual lab) before starting paid tasks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are robotics AI annotation jobs?
They are remote tasks where you label, caption, and evaluate robot videos and AI model outputs so that embodied AI systems can learn how objects, actions, and physical space work.
Do I need a robotics background?
No. A robotics, engineering, or computer science background helps, but generalists from linguistics, media, psychology, and similar fields are welcome. Our ramp-up program (tutorials, quizzes, and a virtual lab) trains you into a robotics specialist.
Are these jobs remote and flexible?
Yes. All work is remote and you choose your own schedule, which makes these roles a good fit for freelancers and students.
How quickly do I get paid?
We offer fast pay for completed and approved tasks, along with efficient feedback loops so you know how your work is evaluated.
What skills matter most?
Video annotation and captioning, model output evaluation, RLHF, spatial reasoning, and strong attention to detail. Clear English writing is important for captions and evaluation rationales.
