Title: Robotics Engineer Jobs Argentina Date: 25-02-2026 Company: Rexzone Country: US Remote Type: Remote Employment Type: FULL_TIME Experience Level: Mid-Senior Industry: Technology Job Function: Engineering Skills: ROS2, Robot Software Engineering, Motion Planning, Perception, Sensor Fusion, SLAM, Control Systems, Embedded C++, Python, Linux, Gazebo Simulation, Robotics Testing and Validation Salary Currency: USD Salary Min: 63360 Salary Max: 126720 Pay Period: YEAR

About the Role

As a Robotics Engineer, you will build and maintain autonomy and robot software components used in production environments. Typical workflows include ROS/ROS2 node development, sensor integration (camera, LiDAR, IMU), perception pipelines, mapping and localization (SLAM), motion planning, control loops, and simulation-based validation. You will contribute to system-level debugging, performance profiling, and safety-minded design, with a strong focus on repeatability through automated tests, CI, and data-driven iteration from logs and telemetry.

Key Responsibilities

You will own features across the robotics stack, from requirements to deployment and monitoring. You will implement and tune perception and planning modules, integrate hardware drivers, and create robust state estimation and control strategies. You will improve reliability through unit/integration tests, scenario coverage in simulation, and structured field test plans. You will review PRs, document interfaces and assumptions, and work closely with cross-functional partners to resolve system bottlenecks and reduce on-robot failure modes.

Required Qualifications

Mid-to-senior experience building robotics software in real deployments. Strong C++ and Python skills, Linux proficiency, and familiarity with ROS/ROS2 tools (tf, rosbag, rviz). Hands-on experience with at least two of: perception, SLAM/localization, motion planning, control systems, embedded integration, or simulation. Ability to debug complex systems using logs, telemetry, and profiling, and to write clear documentation and tests that keep autonomy stacks stable over time.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with autonomy safety practices, fault handling, and recovery behaviors. Familiarity with Gazebo/Ignition, Isaac Sim, or comparable simulation stacks; Docker-based workflows and CI/CD for robotics. Exposure to sensor calibration, time synchronization, and real-time constraints. Background in robotic manipulation, mobile robotics, or industrial automation. Comfort collaborating with hardware teams on bring-up and root-cause analysis.

Tooling and Domains You May Work In

Common domains include mobile robots, warehouse automation, industrial inspection, and field robotics. Tooling often includes ROS2, rviz, rosbag, CMake, Git, Linux, and simulation environments such as Gazebo. Technical focus areas may include sensor fusion, visual/LiDAR perception, SLAM, motion planning, trajectory optimization, PID/MPC control, and hardware-in-the-loop validation.

How Rex.zone Helps You Get Hired

Rex.zone aggregates remote robotics engineer opportunities and clarifies requirements so you can quickly find roles aligned with your robotics stack experience. You can identify whether a role emphasizes perception vs. planning vs. controls, whether it is simulation-heavy or field-heavy, and what the deployment environment looks like. Use the page to navigate openings, compare skill expectations, and apply to roles that fit your background.

Remote Work Notes

This role is Remote and FULL_TIME. Some teams may require scheduled overlap hours, occasional on-site field tests, or coordination with hardware labs depending on the robot platform. You should be comfortable collaborating via tickets, code reviews, incident write-ups, and structured test plans to keep production systems reliable.
