About the Role

In this remote, full-time role, you will support robotics and automation deployments by diagnosing faults, restoring operation, and improving reliability for robotic workcells. You will interpret logs and alarms, validate IO signals, verify safety circuits, and execute corrective actions across robots, PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and vision components. You will also coordinate with engineering to track recurring issues, produce service documentation, and maintain configuration control so production teams can sustain stable performance.

Key Responsibilities

You will troubleshoot robot and PLC faults using structured diagnostics; perform preventive maintenance on robots, end-effectors, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment; calibrate sensors, encoders, and vision systems to meet quality targets; validate safety systems (e-stops, interlocks, light curtains) and follow LOTO procedures; manage spare parts usage, service records, and maintenance checklists; support commissioning tasks such as IO checkout, homing routines, and cycle verification; communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and reduce downtime; and document root-cause analysis and corrective actions to improve system reliability.

Required Qualifications

Mid-Senior experience as a robotics technician, automation technician, or maintenance technician supporting industrial robotics; hands-on troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems; ability to read electrical schematics and interpret PLC/robot diagnostics; practical understanding of industrial safety standards and safe maintenance practices; strong documentation habits for work orders, incidents, and configuration changes; and reliable remote collaboration skills for coordinating with site staff and engineering teams.
